On July 18, at 19:00, the photo exhibition “Sand waves” by Rustam Huseynov will open in the Emin Gahramanov Art Gallery.
New series of works by photographer Rustam Huseynov is dedicated to the hot summer beach landscapes of Absheron. Sand dunes and beach lines in the lens of Rustam Huseynov in black and white gradation look more colorful than the color photographs of the summer season. A stark contrast stops time, giving a documentary eternity to the contrasting landscapes of the cool sea and the burning hot sand of Absheron. Each shot full of a scorching summer sun atmosphere and salty sea wind. The Caspian coast, encoded in a black and white austere landscape, looks like a monumental chthonic area, where time stands still and the eternal triumphs over the current moment and its atmosphere prevails over rare guests.
The exhibition will run until July 25. The exhibition curator is Nurziya Khalilova. Free admission.
