“XX-XXI Century Azerbaijani painting” is located by the National Flag Square. Exposition was opened on June 8, 2015 and this is new project of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the field of culture. In the exhibition are represented 105 artworks by 40 Azerbaijani artists. This exhibition demonstrates the various directions from realism to modernism, and postmodernism. Along with artists that have laid the foundation of easel painting, works by well-known coryphaeus and partly forgotten artisans are exhibited here.
