Solo exhibition by Irina Eldarova
On the 7th of February Museum of Modern Art will open the exhibition called “The Male = Brand” by famous Azerbaijani artist Irina Eldarova. Irina Eldarova was born in Moscow. In 1975-1979 the artist-illustrator graduated Repin State Academy of Fine Arts, Sculpture and Architecture in St Petersburg. In 1980- 1982 she was a graduate of Surikov State Academic Art Institute in Moscow. Since 1995 she is an art director of Caspian Publishing House. She has taken part in many exhibitions not only in Azerbaijan, Russia and other CIS countries but in abroad.
Irina Eldarova s carrier includes not only painting and graphics but developing major publishing projects in Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The artist is an author of series of marble reliefs for the underground station Halglar Dostlugu in Baku. In 2007 she was awarded the prize of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan for the best “media-project” – publication “Kazakhstan State Book”.
The new project of famous artist Irina Eldarova  “THE MALE=BRAND” – is an attempt to penetrate into the world which formed by male consciousness.
The artist created more than 40 artworks of different forms for her personal exhibition.
