"AH" - is a feeling. "HA" - as a person who is not familiar. But how is it possible to get the feeling of “AHHA”? 
We invite you to my solo exhibition " AHHA " which will take place on 14th of December at Asmart Creative - hub. Project is realized in the frames of the “Regional Art and Culture Project in the South Caucasus”, which is managed by the Culture and Management Lab with financial support of the Swiss Cooperation Office for the South Caucasus (SCO).

On the 14th of December The Museum of Modern Art will open the exhibition called “The exhibition of sculptures” by famous Azerbaijani artist and sculptor Zakir Mehtiyev. Zakir Mehtiyev was born in 1948. He graduated State Art School named by Azim Azimzadeh. He is also a graduate of Moscow State Art Academic Institute named by Surikov. In 1979 he was a member of Artists Union of USSR. He finished postgraduate studies of Art Academy of  USSR.

YARAT Contemporary Art Centre invites all of you to “ART Dialogue” interdisciplinary project on December 23. “ART Dialogue” is curated by Arzu Mammadova - participant of the YARAT Art ?nternship program. It is fairly obvious that the different types of art is percepted by human consciousness differently. Music, fine art and poetry are speaking to us in different languages.

Art Doll exhibition is to be at the Heydar Aliyev Center from December 28: The 230 dolls displayed at the Art Doll Exhibition hosted by the Heydar Aliyev Center are just a part of a rich private collection boasting of more than 400 unique artifacts. The exhibits include handworks by renowned Azerbaijani doll-makers along with pieces by artists from the US, Germany, Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Russia, Nothern Cyprus, Indonesia, Ukraine, and Japan.

The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum in the framework of the project Cultural Wealth of Azerbaijan invites you to the master classes on weaving Cheten, a kind of flat–woven carpet. The master classes will be held on February 11–12, 2017, at 12 a.m.

On the 1st of March Museum of Modern Art will open the exhibition by Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Mammad Mustafayev. Mammad Ali oghlu Mustafayev was born on the 2nd of February in 1948 in Baku. His creature life began in art studio at Pioneers Palace in 1958. Then the artist entered Art School named after Azim Azimzadeh.

The first "female" exhibition in the framework of the festival «Art BAHAR» will take place thanks to the young artist Ulviya Nasib. The daughter of an architect, fond of painting, Ulviya grew up in a creative atmosphere. The author believes that the ability to write has passed to her from her father, who supported her desire to become a professional writer. Nevertheless, the range of her interests is very wide. Having to work as a teacher of music, Ulviya still opted for painting. 

Excelsior Hotel & Spa Baku invites fashion lovers to BAKU Fashion NIGHT2017 on April 14. The project aims at promoting local designers as well as revealing new talents. The project can be attended by foreign designers. The event is co-organized by FMS models Agency and of Excelsior Hotel & SPA in Baku.

This year, on April 14 - May 2, at the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum will be held the solo exhibition Tesaduf by the Azerbaijan honored artist Inna Kostina. The exhibition will feature 48 batik examples. This are the artist’s works in a series of paintings Phoenix and Tesaduf, made in the technique of hot and cold batik.

On the 3rd of May Museum of Modern Art will open the exhibition called “The formula of happiness” by famous Azerbaijani artist Namig Mammadov. Namig Mammadov Zahid oghlu was born on the 23rd of December in 1957 in Ganja. He lives and works in Baku.

Joint exhibition of two artists who have decided to confess their love to batik. Tatiana and Sevda are sure that in the birth of batik there is a miracle, as magical as producing natural silk. "We put together the silk and batik, painting with hot wax, and loved it for its originality, brightness, strength and lightness." Tatiana Agababaeva, in addition to the creation of her own works, is the curator of exhibitions on batik and Sevda Agasieva, being the pianist by specialty, adds musical rhythm in their art-pieces.

Butunay graduated from British Higher School of Art and Design, Moscow (2001) and Azim Azimzadeh Art college, Painting faculty (Baku 2005, 2009).

On May 4-5 2017, the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum will celebrate Weavers Day. Here, a series of events devoted to the contemporary carpet art, such as round table, exhibition, and master classes will be held.
